Joel Carlsen

Joel graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 2014, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Operations Management.  Joel has experience working in Logistics and Supply Chain Planning, as well as Materials Management and various Quality related functions.  He holds an APICS certification in the Basics of Supply Chain Management, ASQ certification in ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditing, and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.   Joel has been employed by Global Finishing Solutions, LLC in Osseo, WI for the past 3 and 1/2 years and is currently working in Quality & Continuous Improvement as a Quality Engineer.   In his free time, Joel plays the trumpet and participates as a musician in various groups around the Chippewa Valley.  He also enjoys outdoor activities such as Hunting and Cycling.

Jennifer Slifka

Vice President-Marketing

Jennifer graduated from UWEC in 2006 with Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. She worked for Thermo Fisher Scientific in Milwaukee for a little more than 8 years. She was a Chemist for about four years and a Production Planner/Buyer for about four years. She moved back to Eau Claire in 2014 after her husband got a job at a local hospital. She has been a homemaker and stay at home mom of her two children since 2014. She has been involved with APICS since 2010 and was CPIM certified in 2011. 

Victoria Lund

Executive Vice President

Victoria graduated from UWEC in 2008 with a Bachelors of Business Administration and received her MBA in 2012 also from UWEC. She has experience working in inventory control, production control, and purchasing. She began her work in operations with Silicon Graphics International and is now a Strategic Procurement Manager with Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Chippewa Falls, WI. Victoria also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and APICS CPIM designation. She has been a member of APICS since 2016.

Terry Wells

Vice President-Recording Secretary

Terry Wells, MBA, CPIM has taught operations management courses at UWEC for over 25 years. During that time, she also served as the advisor of UWEC APICS (a Platinum student chapter) as well as serving as President, VP, and now secretary on the Clearwater Chapter Board. She frequently attends the APICS International Conference with her student board members. Terry enjoys going to concerts, spending time with family and friends and living on the lake.

Scot Iverson

Vice President-Finance
Scot graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in 2001. He received his MBA from the same University in 2004.  He has been a member of APICS since 1999 and is CPIM Certified. He is employed at Nestle Nutrition in Eau Claire, WI as the Warehouse Manager.  In addition, he has previous experience in Plant Leadership, 3PL’s, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Operations Management.      

Tonya Wahl

Vice President-Education
Tonya Wahl has been of a member of APICS since 1996.  She completed her CPIM Certification in 2000.  
She received her Bachelor’s Degree from UWEC in Management with an Operations Emphasis. She worked in manufacturing over 10 years gaining experience in planning, inventory control, scheduling, purchasing,
lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and supply chain management.  She currently is self-employed at Wahl Supply Chain Solutions providing Supply Chain Consultant support where needed.

Brady Zwiefelhofer

Vice President- Student Chapter Liaison
Brady graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration – General Management. He has a wide range of experience in procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing operations. Brady currently works at Cray, Inc. as Inventory Manager leading a group that oversees warehousing and production control operations. Prior to that, he spent over 5 years in the food and beverage industry primarily in a purchasing role. While Brady has been a rather active member with the APICS Clearwater Chapter over the last decade, this is only his second year sitting on the board. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and being active in the outdoors. He is also a recent cancer survivor.

Nancy Bronstad

Vice President- Membership
Nancy graduated from UW-Stout with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology. She has been a member of APICS since 2007 and earned her CPIM certification in 2008. She is currently employed at GVS Filtration in Bloomer, WI, where she started in 1990 as the Manufacturing Engineer and moved into the Material Manager role in 2006. She is a Six Sigma Green Belt and was recently certified as a Second Party Auditor. Her experience includes Purchasing, Sourcing, Scheduling, Customer Assistance, Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Management and Lean Manufacturing. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, camping, riding her RZR and bowling.

Erik Ohlhues

President- UWEC APICS
Erik is currently a Senior at UWEC pursuing a major in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Information Systems. He has been a part of APICS for 7 semesters and during that time has been on plant tours around the Midwest and attended the ASCM National Conference in Las Vegas. Erik currently works at TTM Technologies in an Operations Co-Op position. In his free time he enjoys fishing, exercising, and watching sports.
